Selfish

I was recently asked my view on Selfishness:

"My view on selfishness? Well, I think if you create a really-good-you, you can then make a difference in other people's lives - And in our society that is considered unselfish. But I think somewhere along the way, the term selfish got a bad rap. You cannot give and be productive if you are sick, depressed or overwhelmed. I think being selfish and looking out for number one is the most giving thing you can do."

I think "selfishness" is often confused with greed, or not wanting other to have what they need. It is really about thinking about and focusing on what is best for yourself - - Then finding the resources to make sure you are happy and satisfied. If people think they do not innately do this everyday, they are confused! You cannot provide for your children or make sound decisions without being selfish.

My Dream Mobile > Verdier

Okay, I am in heaven! Finally - my dream mobile. This Eco-RV is fantastic.

Reminiscent of the VW bus, the Verdier offers everything from the cool, old-school profile of the hippy van but adds the streamline functionality of technical and friendly innovations.

> An on-board computer provides wireless internet.
> A GPS unit keeps the solar panel pointing at the sun.
> The hybrid fuel or diesel + electric engine generates 200 HP.
> 31 MPG fuel economy that makes any SUV, or sedan for that matter, weep.
> And wait until you see the interior - fabulous!

I'm not sure when it is available, but put me on the waiting list. After I purchase a bathroom tent to install by its side, this little Verdier will be my new home-sweet-home for a while.

Amazing Sun Gazing

I stumbled across a website (while researching a non-related topic) and found this crazy practice called Sun Gazing. I immediately thought of sun worshipers from ancient history, or similar practices in the East (no, not Rhode Island, India) As I skimmed the articles, I began to feel a strange connection with the words I was reading. Everything about the idea made complete sense to me.

I went to other websites, some were not favorable to sun gazing, but most were pro-sun gazing, and well, I just felt something inside of me align with the whole idea.

So, I started sun gazing! You can read more here > http://www.evabach.com/sungazing.html

I am keeping a journal on this. And I will keep you posted too.
